$170 single/double, without complimentary inroom internet
(current daily rate is $9.95 for wired/wireless internet in room).
The room rate includes free self-park of an auto.
Not included:
Porterage fee (required) $8.33 per person (round trip). They carry your bags–it is a union hotel).
Rate is good 2 days before conference (night nights of 3, 4 January) and up to 7 days(!) after the conference (night of the 14th, departing the 15th).
Recommendations
Rent a car–a taxi costs $90 from the airport, and there is a LOT to see in a
rented car on Hawaii–the Biog Island is Big!
Fly intyo Kona Int’l Airport–40 minute drive to resort. Do NOT fly into Hilo
(5-6 hour drive).
Sales tax on rooms is 13.4% approx.
