Technical Instructions

Each person participating in a session for IBEC 2021 should have both camera and audio capabilities. Please keep your camera active throughout a session so participants may see you; please do not use the black screen, if at all possible.

Each Presenter will be allowed to “share screen” through Zoom to present their presentations and documents. If shifting between documents, presenters are encouraged to use the “new share” capability displayed on the drop-down list.

Each session will have a session chair and a host. The Chair will maintain the order and timing of the session; the Host will manage the entry and mute capabilities of the session.

Most often during in-person sessions of the past, although IBEC suggests questions at the end of a presentation, questions often occur during a presentation as well. These questions will be managed by the Chair and Host, unless the presenter encourages questions; participants are encouraged to use the “raised hand” or to use the “CHAT” to ask questions, which could be posed periodically by the Chair.
All participants are required to use the provided ZOOM links in the program for each session.
