Bergamo’s international airport “Orio al Serio Il Caravaggio” has regular flights to many European cities. The airport is located about 6 km away from Bergamo down town. The best way to get to the city centre from the airport is by bus. From the airport you take the bus (ATB Line 1C, Cost: approx. 2€ direction Bergamo: it brings you to the Bergamo Railway Station). For further information and timetables see the ATB website. You can also reach the city centre by taxi. The taxi fare is about 25-30 € and the journey takes about 15 minutes (Radio Taxi +39 035 4519090).
You can also fly to Milano Linate that has regular flights to many European cities. If you travel to Linate airport, you have to take a bus or taxi to Milano Railway Station and the a train to Bergamo (travel time 40 minutes, see www.trenitalia.com for fares and timetable).
If you are travelling from outside Europe, you can fly to Milano Malpensa. To get to Bergamo, you can take the bus (18 euros single ticket) from Malpensa airport to Bergamo centre (travel time 2 hours).
