For those landing in Beijing—take the direct bus from the airport to Tianjin, 82 rmb and about 2 hrs 30 mins; this is easier than trying to transfer to high speed rail and takes about the same time.
For those landing in Shanghai, you can take the line 5 bus to the railway station and high speed rail to Tianjin. You can also fly from Shanghai to Tianjin.
